Joining the Church

We would love you to be more than just a visitor of Winchester Family Church. The bible describes the church as a body, with all the different members playing a part, each equally vital. Being part of a church is way better than simply going to church!

We have a team of people called the Integration Team whose job is to help you find your place in the life of the church. You can contact them by email at office@winfam.org or by filling out a “Wish you were here…” card on Sunday. If you have any questions or comments about the church, or you are not sure what to do next, then please get in touch. One of the keys to feeling part of the church is to join one of our Community Groups. The Integration Team will help you to do this and quickly feel at home.

We run a special course for people who are considering becoming members. This is called Foundations and runs over seven Tuesday evenings. Each evening includes a meal, a chance to ask questions and a presentation on a foundational subject relating to the Christian life. Topics covered include becoming a Christian, baptism, the Christian life, kingdom warfare, the church and mission. In fact, even if you don’t want to join the church (and there is no obligation) this course will bless you!

We believe that God is doing an exciting thing in Winchester and the surrounding districts, and that the church is central to His plan. So why not come onboard! To register for the next course, please email office@winfam.org.
